Why a wheel beats arguing about it
Choosing where to eat is a low-stakes decision that somehow takes twenty minutes. Everyone has a mild preference, nobody has a strong one, and the conversation stalls. Handing the decision to a wheel removes the part people actually dislike — being the one who chose.
If you want to keep some control, filter first. Narrow it to burgers or pizza, then spin within that group. You still get the relief of not deciding, without ending up somewhere nobody wanted.

Burgers
- McDonald's — The default when nobody can agree. Breakfast runs until 10:30am at most locations.
- Burger King — Flame-grilled patties. The app almost always has a better price than the menu board.
- Wendy's — Square patties, never frozen. Known for the chili and the Frosty.
- Five Guys — Built-to-order burgers, free peanuts, and a regular fry that feeds two.
- Shake Shack — Smashed patties and frozen custard. Pricier than the drive-thru chains.

- Popeyes — Louisiana-style with a spicy option. The sandwich still draws a queue.
- Chick-fil-A — Closed Sundays. Waffle fries and a sauce lineup people genuinely argue about.
- Raising Cane's — One thing only: chicken fingers, crinkle fries, Texas toast and the sauce.
- Wingstop — Wings by flavour rather than by meal. Cooked to order, so expect a wait.
- Bojangles — Southeast US. Biscuits made through the day and seasoned fries.
Pizza
- Domino's — Built for delivery. Order tracking and app deals are the reason to pick it.
- Pizza Hut — Pan pizza and stuffed crust — the reason to choose it over the others.
- Papa John's — Garlic sauce with every box. Better on carryout pricing than delivery.
- Little Caesars — Hot-N-Ready means no wait and the lowest price on the board.
Mexican
- Taco Bell — Open latest of anything here. The value menu does most of the work.
- Chipotle — Build-your-own burritos and bowls. Order ahead to skip the line entirely.
- Del Taco — Tacos plus burgers and fries — the hedge when the group can't agree.
- Qdoba — Similar build to Chipotle, but queso and guac come at no extra charge.

- Subway — Made in front of you. The easiest place to keep an order genuinely light.
- Jimmy John's — Cold subs, delivered fast. A short menu that rarely goes wrong.
- Jersey Mike's — Sliced to order. 'Mike's Way' is the standard build worth asking for.
- Panera Bread — Soups, salads and bread bowls. The calmest room on this list.

- Starbucks — Coffee first, food second. The reliable answer when it's a drink you want.
- Dunkin' — Coffee and donuts, quick in and out. Strongest in the Northeast.
- Dairy Queen — Blizzards handed over upside down, plus a full hot-food menu.
- Krispy Kreme — When the Hot Light is on, the glazed donuts are coming off the line.

How does the fast food wheel work?
Pick a category if you want to narrow it down, then spin. The wheel selects at random from the chains currently in play and shows you what you're eating, along with a short note on what that chain is known for.
Can I narrow it to one type of food?
Yes. Use the filters to limit the wheel to burgers, chicken, pizza, Mexican, sandwiches and subs, or coffee and sweets. The wheel then only draws from that group.
Is the spin actually random?
Yes. The winner is drawn first from every chain in the current filter, and the wheel is then rotated to land on it — so each chain has an equal chance regardless of where it sits on the wheel.
